Wales: The Holiday That Almost Was...

Well, last Thursday Tracey, Dave, Cat, Vicki, Jonny and myself all went to Wales for a weeks' holiday camping, much like we did last year at the Lake Disctrict. However, unlike last year, it pissed it down. Constantly! We had maybe 12 hours over the four days we were there that it didn't rain, and most of that was on the second day.

On the third day, Cat, Vicki, Tracey and myself went to Canaefrn (or something like that), while Dave and Jonny walked the dog, we got back, and it just bucketed down. By Sunday morning, most of us had had our share of rain and just couldn't be bothered with staying, so we made a group decision to call the holiday short and just cut our losses. So, on Monday evening, as it is right now, I'm back home, where it's nice and warm, and it can rain as much as it likes, cos I'm indoors!

Good thing is, it means I can see Jo today, as it's her birthday which I wouldn't have been able to otherwise. So: Happy Birthday Jo
